Vale Craig Behringer

15 April 2019

Vale Craig Behringer

With great sadness we acknowledge the passing of Craig Behringer after a battle with illness.

Craig was a tough, no-compromising front-rower who played 1st & 2nd Grade at West harbour in the Sydney First Division Shute Shield.

Following this he moved with his family to the Blue Mountains and played for, and captained, Blueys senior first grade side.

Along with Rod Sargeant & David McCulloch, Craig was a founder of Blue Mountains Junior Rugby Club - 'The Blue Tongues’.

The junior club was formed late 2006 and entered competition in the Sydney Junior Rugby competition 2007.

Craig was the inaugural president and held the post for many years.

He was passionate, dedicated and a real driving force in establishing junior rugby and the Blue Tongues in the mountains.

He was a loving father to Maddi and James and a successful businessman.

We have lost a great bloke, mate and Bluey.

RIP Craig
